One Year Ends, Another Begins!

There is no other place I would rather end 2012 than with my family in Knoxville, celebrating the life of The One who died for me (and you).

On December 19, 2012 at 9:50 pm, I hopped on a plane left the rock I live on in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I landed in my beautiful homeland of Knoxville, TN 14 hrs later...

I look forward to spending the next 10 days with my family, celebrating Jesus and all of the amazing things He has done in our lives.  The year of 2012 holds more testimonies of His goodness than I have time to recount in this update. However, I believe that in 2013, He will surpass all that He did this previous year (because that is how He works). He is good, always good, even through tragedy. Circumstances and acts of evil do not change who He is. His plan goes far beyond our comprehension. May we hold on to Him more tightly than we ever have...

I will be returning back to Hawaii on Dec. 31st, and will be there until January 15th.

On January 15th I will be embarking on another mission for Jesus.

My stops include: 2 weeks in the Los Angeles area, followed by 2 weeks in Seoul, South Korea, followed by 3 weeks in Thailand/Cambodia.

Our ministry opportunities are endless.  We have 3 weeks of scheduled teaching/ministry at YWAM bases. The other 4 weeks are open for us to be led by the Spirit. Wherever we are, and whatever we do,  we long to see people encounter the love of Jesus. Whether it be evangelism on college campuses in LA, walking through the streets of Cambodia, or serving at a YWAM base, we want to reflect the love and grace of Jesus.

I have purchased my plane tickets for this trip, however I am still in need of finances for housing and other daily living expenses. If you would like to partner with me for this trip or become a monthly supporter, you can copy and paste the following link to give online. All donations are tax deductible.

A Divine Love. Thankful.

Thanksgiving. As I reflect on my life, it is of no struggle to find an innumerable amount of "things" to be thankful for. When I say "things", I am speaking of people, moments, possessions, opportunities etc... But as I try to narrow it down to what I am most thankful for, all things lead back to the man Jesus. I am in utter awe when I think of the effect this divine being has had in my life. My life would be non-existent without Him. All things came into being through Him...(John 1:3). He is the glue that holds this broken life together....

A holy God places His Spirit inside fallen man. What a beautiful picture. I reflect on the past 10 years of my life and I am amazed at where I stand today. A once broken drug addict, on the verge of death, now stands full of life and filled with the fiery Spirit of God. It's beyond human comprehension to try and understand this God who is full of mercy and compassion.  God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them...(2 Corinthians 5:19).

Sinful humanity is ravenously pursued by God. His divine hunger for mankind to experience His love caused Jesus to willingly endure the cross. After he experienced the most excruciating death, He not only rose from the grave and ascended into heaven, but He then sent His Holy Spirit to come as our Comforter. This type of love doesn't make sense. His endless pursuit of people who run from Him is the most beautiful story that has ever taken place. And it is currently happening as I write. For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His (2 Chronicles 16:9).  He is constantly seeking out His lost children. When we allow ourselves to be found, that is when the unending celebration begins. Not only are we cleansed by His blood, but we are filled with His fire. He takes our life of ashes and gives us the beautiful assignment of representing Him on earth.

So, today, I am thankful for the God who pursued me until I had nowhere else to run. His love broke through a hard heart. I am in debt to this God. He is the reason I am alive, therefore He is the reason I choose to live. Living any other life than for Him makes no sense. I willingly lay every dream and desire down for the sake of gaining more of Him....However, the amazing thing about this God is that He actually enjoys fulfilling the desires of our heart! As we lay down our dreams, He purifies them and hands them back. I love this God.

Following His Leading...

Proverbs 19:21
You can make many plans, but the Lord's purpose will prevail.

The above verse has become a very evident truth to me over the past two weeks. As most of you who are reading this know, I have had plans to be traveling back to Wales in January and then again in July (2013).  However, the Lord had different plans in mind. I will not be traveling to Wales in January. I do believe that the Lord is calling myself and several others to continue the work in Wales at some point, however, it won't be in January. Due to some situations out of our control, our plans have been put on hold at the moment.

Praise God, when one doors shuts, He opens another!

Upon my return to Kona, I found out that not only would my trip not happen in January, I also found out that the DTS I was going to be staffing next April will no longer be running.  I was given several options to pray into, and I received direction from the Lord very quickly.

On January 15th I will be traveling with the leader of my DTS this past year and his family, along with a few others, to the following places:
                                     Pasadena, CA - Jan. 15th - Jan. 28th
                                     Seoul, South Korea - Jan. 28th - Feb. 11th
                                     Thailand/Cambodia - Feb. 11th - March 4th

Aaron (my DTS Leader) is an amazing worship leader. He has been invited to several YWAM bases to come lead and teach on worship. We will be there with him to help minister and pray for people during times of ministry. We will also be doing street evangelism and anything else that the Lord may open up for us. Our heart is to serve wherever we go. In Mark 10:45 we see that Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many, and we long to follow that example. We have a community being planted in Pasadena that is longing to see revival among the college campuses in America. We will be running with them for 2 weeks, pressing in to see God move in Southern California. From there we will travel to SE Asia. There a few YWAM bases that we will be connecting with there. Fire and Fragrance has been sending teams to these locations over the past few years and we are going with the intent to see these relationships continue to grow and watch the Lord pour out His Spirit in these areas. God has done amazing things through the base in Cambodia over the past five years and I can not wait to not only impart what I have to give, but also to receive an impartation of what they are carrying.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you! My missions account with YWAM has now been set up. I will paste my address at the bottom of this update. If the Lord speaks to you about partnering with me financially, checks can be made out to YWAM and they will send you a receipt for tax purposes. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at znash22@gmail.com or call me at 865-257-5996. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support! Be blessed!

Adventuring With God...

11 days until I return to Kona! I can not believe how fast my time in Knoxville has gone by. It feels like I just returned, and now I am about to be leaving again to embark on another journey with God! This past season of life was filled with great community, lots of traveling, and seeing God do things that only He can do!

My time in the UK/Wales was such an epic time of pressing in for revival. I was part of a team of 12 people who became family. We lived together, ate together, prayed together, cried together, laughed together, worshipped together, pranked each other, got upset with each other, forgave each other...we became best friends. I will never forget my time spent with them and can not wait to reunite with them in the future.

Our team worked with a local Elim Pentecostal church in Holyhead, Wales. We built amazing relationships with the people of Holyhead and saw close to 50 kids give their lives to Jesus!  God is moving in Wales and I am so excited to continue to be a part of what He is doing there. A few of us from our team feel God calling us to continue making trips back to Wales to further the work He started while we there. We also made connections with others across the UK. God is calling His bride into global unity. He has pockets of revival fires that He wants to spread across the earth! We have the honor of being those fire-starters! We long to see revival break out across the world, and we believe that it is happening now! Contend with us in prayer for revival.

I will be heading back to Kona on November 4th to join the Leadership Track at the YWAM base. The vision is to remain in Kona until January, followed by a two month leadership outreach back to Wales through February. While in Wales during those 2 months, we want to build a relationship with the YWAM base in Wrexham, as well as build other connections with whoever God sets us up with while there. We believe God is calling us to travel throughout North Wales and prepare the soil for when we take teams of DTS students there later on in the year.

We will return to Kona around the first of March to prepare for the April Fire and Fragrance DTS. I will be a part of staffing that DTS and will lead a team of students back to Wales. I am very excited about this next year! We believe God has spoken to us and given us a vision for what He wants us to do. However, sometimes He changes things, so we are holding fast to the vision but we are also staying flexible to whatever the Holy Spirit leads us to do.

Please partner with me in prayer for my upcoming journey. I have an official newsletter that I have been sending out, however, I was unable to post it here on my blog. If you would like to receive it, please email me at znash22@gmail.com and I will get it to you! Also if God speaks to you about partnering with me financially you can email me or contact me by phone at 865-257-5996 and I will give you the details. I look forward to sharing this journey with you, be blessed!

One Season Leads to Another......

Well DTS has come to an end and I am now back on the mainland. I made lifelong friends which I already miss greatly, but I know that we shall reunite sooner than later! My time in Wales was filled with God moving in His ever-creative ways drawing people to Himself in ways that only He can do. Our team saw close to fifty kids from the ages of 5-15 receive Jesus into their lives! We built a very strong relationship with the community in Holyhead and can not wait to get back in the near future to continue the work that the Lord has called us to do.  God set up divine appointments for us throughout our entire trip and is continuing to open doors for us in the UK! We were also able to sit with several men and women who have experienced tangible outpourings of the Spirit in Wales. One man's mother was saved under Evan Roberts ministry during the 1904 Welsh Revival! Others lived through revival in the 1930's and 1970's. Some of the testimonies they told us had us laughing one minute and crying the next. One man said he could remember people being pushed into these revival meetings in wheelchairs and walking out pushing their own wheelchair because the Lord healed them. We heard story upon story of God displaying His power through healings and salvations by the thousands. We long to see society transformed once again by a mighty move of God.

I am so excited about this upcoming season of life. There are several unknowns but I have complete faith in God to execute His plan! I do know that I will be going back to Kona in the near future to work with YWAM and staff the April Fire and Fragrance DTS in 2013! It looks like I could either be back in Kona as soon as November, but definitely by January. I will have more in depth details in the next week or two! It is looking as though some of us will continue to go back and forth from Kona to Wales, taking teams and building stronger relationships with the people of North Wales with the hopes of planting a Fire and Fragrance community there in the future! It's in the very beginning stages but we know that the Lord has a deposit there and we long to see the Kingdom advance in Wales! I will share more details as they come! Thank you so much for all of your support during this past season! I ask for continued prayer for guidance and wisdom during these next few months in our preparing our future plans! More info to come soon....

1 Samuel 1:6

1 Sam. 1:6 - ...the Lord had closed her womb.

How often do we build a theology around life’s circumstances that do not fit into our paradigm? We go through a wilderness season and immediately think that we have come out of alignment with God’s will, or we simply blame it on the devil. Throughout the bible we see the people of God suffering. In 1 Samuel ch 1 we read about a woman named Hannah who was unable to bear children. Verse 6 tells us that “the Lord had closed her womb”. This was not an attack from the enemy, nor did she have some secret sin in her life that cause God to close her womb. God knew that she would eventually give birth to a son, however there was a specific time that he needed to born. God also needed Hannah to come to place of complete surrender when it came to her son. In vs. 11 she tells the Lord that she will give her son to Him all the days of his life. So we see that not only was the timing of this child’s birth pivotal, but Hannah’s heart posture was just as important if not more so. One thing, that I love about Hannah is that she never gave up on the Lord. She continued to pour out her soul before Him (vs. 15).
Hannah had a very clear understanding of how God works. In Ch 2 we see her song/prayer. In 2:6,7 she states “The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol and raises up. The Lord makes poor and rich; He brings low, He also exalts.”. Hannah understood that God does not always operate the way we think He should. She knew that this situation was not about her. It was much bigger than she was, it was much bigger than her son Samuel was. They were playing a role in the prophetic journey that was leading to the birth of the Messiah. Samuel needed to be born during this time because he carried the word of the Lord for David from whom Jesus would come from! Hannah understood that God does whatever necessary to accomplish His overall plan. When we try to place God in box, we limit the way He can move in our lives. It is as though we actually rob ourselves from His blessing on our life.  I am not saying that as Christians we must live in a constant state of suffering. However there are numerous scriptures that tell us we will suffer. We will go through wilderness seasons. It is in those wilderness seasons that I want to be like Jesus and come out in the power of the Spirit (Luke 4). We have be careful not to remove ourselves out of God’s will because we think we are not in it, when in all actuality we were right smack dab in the middle of it to begin with.

Wales/Life update 8/3/12

Another rainy day in Wales....I must say that I am not a fan of the weather in the UK. However, apart from that, my time here is going well. God is using our team in awesome ways. We have built some amazing relationships with the youth of Holyhead. Close to 30 kids have given their lives to Jesus so far! We run three different meetings each week at the church, and God’s grace has been all over them. We have new kids coming to the meetings each time and God always pulls through to encounter them. It’s exciting!
......During one of our prayer sets back in Kona, the Lord showed me a picture that I want to share. He showed me a picture of Him sitting down with me under a tree beside a river. It was the most peaceful setting. He was sitting about 2 feet away from me, looking directly into my eyes. It was almost as though He was looking through my eyes into the deepest parts of my being. He wasn’t interested in anything else other than what was on my heart. His only desire was to hear me talk. He wanted to hear my desires. He wanted to know the areas of hurt in my life. He just wanted to hear my voice.... He was showing me that He cherishes our conversations. Another thing He revealed to me through it was that our conversations never have to end! I believe that this picture is how God looks at all of us. He just wants to sit and listen to us. He is the only one who will never get tired of hearing us talk. Think about this for a second, the God who created the universe wants to sit and look deep into our eyes and listen to our heart’s cry! ....Even when we feel the furthest from Him, He is right there waiting for us to speak. He never gets up to leave the conversation. He waits patiently for us to talk. It is in the moments of uncertainty that we have to stand on the fact that His character never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His lovingkindness is everlasting. Life can throw all sorts of craziness at us, but God is constant. If we place our hope in anything other than Him, we will be thoroughly disappointed.  We can not have a perspective that only focuses on the here and now. We must have an eternal perspective. God’s timing and our timing are so often on different scales. His time frame is eternity.

God Is Faithful!!!! 7/10/12

1 Thessalonians 5:24 - Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.....
God is faithful. Even when I am faithless, He remains faithful (2 Tim. 2:13). Being faithful is part of His character and He cannot deny His characteristics....I am constantly amazed at God! He always meets me right where I am at. Regardless of my attitude and emotions, He continues to hammer His love into me! In the toughest of times it is His goodness that breaks through....He is always good!!!!
Our time in Harpenden/London is dwindling down! Only 5 more days until we hop on the train to head into Wales. The Circuit Rider school has been amazing so far! Our times of worship have been explosive, and the teaching sessions have brought such freedom to us. We went out for a couple hours of street evangelism this past week and they were very fruitful. Within two days we had testimonies of 40+ salvations and a handful of people received healing in the streets!  The harvest is definitely ripe! We encounter many rejections from people, but God always seems to lead us to the ones who are ready to embrace Jesus. I’ll share two quick stories with you....
Myself and my small group leader, Andy, encountered a young guy and girl who were around 18. They were so open to hear the gospel! The Lord began to pinpoint to us some past hurt and disappointment in the girl’s life. As we shared what the Lord was speaking to us, she said she was getting goosebumps and that everything we said was spot on! To make a long story short, both of them gave their lives to the Lord!
One afternoon while we were on the streets, the Lord led me to a man who claimed to be muslim. I went and sat down beside him on a bench and just began having a conversation with him, which eventually led into me preaching the gospel to him. At first he kept saying that God doesn’t love him and that Jesus wasn’t really crucified. (He had some wild opinions). After we talked for about 15 minutes I asked if I could pray for him before I had to go. He let me pray over him, and the Lord began to show me some specific things about his past so I prayed them out and began to break the lies the enemy had been speaking over his life. After I prayed for him, he said “Jesus loves me”!!!!! He didn’t pray a prayer of salvation but he encountered the love of God and many seeds were planted in his heart.
I am so excited for the rest of our time here in Harpenden/London, but am equally if not more excited to go to Wales! I was thinking this morning about our teams journey through prayer during our time in Kona for our outreach. We had a prophetic journey that led us to Wales. My excitement is growing! I began to get stirred up in my spirit this morning as I sat and thought about all the amazing ways God spoke to our team through dreams, visions and intercession. It blows my mind to think that the Creator of the universe speaks and listens to us! We get to partner with Him! I can’t wait to see all that happens over these next 2 months!!!!!!!

Team Wales update from Harpenden!

We made it to Harpenden! Our time here has been great so far, we are finally getting adjusted to the time difference and our sleeping arrangements (tents!). We had an amazing flight out of Kona. During our flight some of our teammates were able to pray for every flight attendant (they lined up asking for it!). One of the attendant’s shoulder was completely healed! They were so blessed by our teams compassion and love that they began to empty their refrigerators and give us loads of free food! It was an amazing way to start outreach!
Since arriving in the UK, we have had many different ministry opportunities in the town (Harpenden), and in London as well. Yesterday Rick and a few others preached the Gospel to a man from Bangladesh and he was very receptive. He said he had heard about Jesus from other believers recently...he's Muslim and almost ready to receive the Lord! His name is Javid, pray for him to receive Jesus as his Savior! Also, we have been frequenting a local coffee shop, Costa, and now know most of the names of all their workers, they are mostly from Eastern Europe. The manager remembered Rick’s name today and it is obvious that the joy of the Lord is impacting them and softening their hearts to Jesus!! Pray for Indre, Jane, ZsuZsa, Tiago and Andra to receive Jesus as their Savior as well! Katie complimented a lady on her shoes, which sparked a conversation for Katie to share with her what we are doing here and was able to minister to her. She was asking Katie many questions about the meetings we will be having over the next two weeks and wants to come!
Yesterday another large group of us went to London and the Lord was setting up divine appointments everywhere we went! We were able to spend time and encourage a young couple in one of the parks. We also got to preach the gospel to two young men who ended up showing us around for our last two hours there. We are finding out more and more that when remain obedient to the Spirit’s leading, opportunities get placed in our lap without having to strive after evangelizing to every single person we see. All we have to do is show up and He does the rest!
Tonight is our kick-off to the Circuit Rider school. We are looking forward to the next two weeks we get to spend here in Harpenden. Our time is going to be jammed pack with lectures and local outreaches, but we have so much excitement for what the Lord is going to do in and through our team. We believe the Lord is going to release a fresh baptism of boldness for our team to carry into Wales with us. We look forward to sharing with you everything the Lord does over these next couple of months! Please be prayer for our team to remained unified and for the Lord’s will to be accomplished in and through us during our time in Harpenden.

Sons and Daughters

I am constantly in awe of God. The way He orchestrates our lives blows my mind. My paradigm has been so drastically shifted over the past couple of years. I always knew that the bible says that God loves us and we are children, but only in the past year or so have I truly been able wrap my mind around the fact that I am not an orphan in God’s family. I am adopted as a son! I don’t have to beg God for anything! Yes I have to make my requests known to Him, but I don’t have to beg! I actually make my requests known to Him with thanksgiving, because I know He will answer me with the best response for my life. He is a perfect Father who never makes any wrong moves. He never messes up. He always makes the right decisions concerning my life. Even when I screw everything up, He has the ability to redeem and restore all things! Contrary to a lot of false thinking we have sometimes, God is actually for us, not against us! He is not out to make our life difficult. We have to get out of the orphan mindset, and step into the reality that we are sons and daughters of God!!!!! Seeing as how we are sons and daughters, God provides for us in extravagant ways because we are His children. I have some exciting news about our outreach! I am going to make a video this week with some new details that we received today! I will post the video within the next couple of days!

Wrecked by His Love...

It is hard for me at times to sit down and put into words all that God is revealing and doing with me right now. His love and grace have been penetrating the depths of my heart these past two years. He continues to reveal His love more and more. This past month has been full of spending time receiving His grace. I have been recollecting memories of my time spent at Teen Challenge. The more I think about my time there, the more I see God's grace at work. He met me exactly where I was at, I didn't have to get all cleaned up before He encountered me. I began to learn that I don't meet Him by striving to do all these certain requirements and rituals, but simply by receiving His love for me. Over the past month I am seeing more clearly that I cannot attain righteousness in and of myself. I am righteous because of what Jesus accomplished through the cross, plain and simple. So instead of striving to be perfect, I begin to take God at His word and start viewing myself as He views me. I begin to read the book of Ephesians and start believing who I am in Christ. Like Paul says in 2 Corinthians, I begin to boast in my weakness because that is when His power is perfected. His grace is sufficient! I think as Christians we sometimes get things backwards. While we were still sinners, Jesus died for us (Rom. 5:8).  God's love for us compelled Him to send His son to die for us while were dead in our sins! Why would we think that once we respond to His love that He would all of the sudden become angry at us? Jesus made a way for us to be reconciled to God, not to push us away. He wants us to receive His love! He sings over us with shouts of joy (Zephaniah 3:17)! His countenance shines upon us! When we receive His love as sons and daughters, our heart becomes revived! When revival in our heart takes place, the world can not stop us! A group of people who carry revival in there hearts are bound to release it into the earth! His glory begins to leak out of us on people everywhere we go! We are so excited to carry this simple truth of God's love to the nations. Just like Jeremiah, we have a fire shut up in our bones that we can not contain any longer! It has to be released, people have to encounter the love of Jesus! My outreach team leaves in just under 4 weeks to head to the UK. Our team still needs around $36,000 to meet the budget. We are believing God for it and know that He will provide. If you feel led to partner with us financially please email me at znash22@gmail.com. God is moving in mighty ways across the earth and we are so excited to be a part of it!

Outreach Update!

EXCITING NEWS!

After several weeks of praying and allowing the Lord to speak, our outreach location has been moved from Amsterdam to Wales! As excited as I was to go to Amsterdam, the Lord shut the doors to our going there and has opened up exciting opportunities in Wales. I will be posting a video in the next couple of days with more in-depth info! If you don't know the history of the Welsh revival of 1904, look it up! It shifted the GLOBE!

True Love Means Obeying His Voice

True love for God is an affection which involves choice and selection. True love for God is not just a vocal declaration, but it is a life that flows out of obedience to His word. In Titus 1:16 Paul talks about claiming to know God, but denying Him by our actions. Therefore, true love for God is choosing to be obedient because we want to properly display our love to Him.  Otherwise we are just speaking empty words that hold no weight. Jesus is the prime of example of a life that was an outflow of obedience to the Father. He carried such a love for the Father, and for us, that He was obedient all the way to His death on a cross. As I evaluate my level of obedience to the voice and commands of the Lord, I see my desperate need for the grace of Jesus. My hearts desire is to lay down everything for Him, but at times my actions contradict my confession. Praise God that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). But I want to be someone who can properly display my love for God by being obedient to His voice. When we are obedient to the command of the Lord, He comes and makes His abode in us, resulting in a life filled with power by His Spirit. Many are called, few are chosen. When we say yes to the calling, the result is empowerment to carry His glory to the ends of the earth.

Knighting

This is a video of the men in my DTS being "Knighted". The original definition of a knight is a man who served his sovereign or lord as a mounted soldier in armor. In order for a man to become a knight, he would have to be knighted. Our intentions are a little different. It is not a religious ritual of any sort, but more of a time to set ourselves apart to be men of God who will be a voice to a generation. We went through an intense week of allowing the Holy Spirit to basically do soul surgery on us. It was a very intense, but very freeing week. So at the end of the week, our speaker for the week knighted us. It was an amazing time to make a statement that we will step into the men that God created us to be.

Dreaming With God

Exodus 4:2-4 - The Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” And he said “A staff.” Then He said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. But the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand and grasp it by its tail”-so he stretched out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand.
As we lay our dreams down before the Lord, He sanctifies them and gives them back with divine purpose. He took the staff of Moses from being a shepherd’s crook, and made it into a divine tool for releasing signs and wonders before Pharaoh.  God’s desire is that His dreams would become our dreams. As we let go of our natural thought pattern, He will begin to release a supernatural mindset that reveals the divine calling He has on our lives. The first step is doing as Moses did by laying down his staff, we have to lay down all of our abilities and dreams before the One who has the power to redeem them for His glory. When our dreams merge with His, Heaven begins to collide with the earth and our world becomes wrapped up in His.
I am beginning to get sooo stirred in my spirit about being a part of this movement where God is going to be pouring out His Spirit all across the earth in radical ways. During my time in London on our upcoming outreach, we will be partnering with a school called the Circuit Riders. The mission of the Circuit Riders, as well as Fire and Fragrance, is to release wide-eyed revivalists who would carry the message of the simple Gospel to the nations of the earth as they did in John Wesley's days (Methodist Revival). God is showing us what is looks like to lay down our past hopes and dreams, so that He can sanctify them in order to advance the kingdom of God and bring revival to every nation of the earth. I will be posting some videos and website links that will allow you to get a visual for what this mandate from the Lord looks like. Please continue to keep myself and the rest of the F&F family lifted up during this time of preparation.God Bless.

Outreach

Soooo my outreach location has been determined.....I will be spending 2-3 months beginning in London and then moving into Amsterdam! I am so excited about this outreach. I have the most amazing group of people in my outreach team. We will be going to London first, and will be partnering with a YWAM school called the Circuit Riders. They are a group of fiery, passionate, radical followers of Jesus who desperately want to see revival break loose on the earth. After our time in London we will be going into Amsterdam to minister. As of now I know that in Amsterdam we will be doing a lot of ministry in the red light district as well as ministry to the homeless. It is going to be a very intense trip, I would sooo appreciate your prayers over the next few months as we prepare for this trip. God is just pouring out His Spirit on us here at the base and revealing His love to us in new ways each day. I feel like I have been getting hit wave after wave by His presence. I will be posting again soon with more details once we get everything lined up for the trip. Look forward to sharing this experience with all of you!

Times of Transition

Seasons of transition are such a vital time in the life of a Christian. I am noticing more than ever that the times of transition that I go through, are actually a training ground for my ministering to others. Our personal victories and stories of overcoming obstacles are meant to be a blessing for everyone. Once we overcome a sin pattern or break agreements that we have made with the lies of the enemy, we take ownership over it. No longer are we slaves to that sin pattern, but we actually take dominion over that area. There is no greater accomplishment than stepping into the freedom that the blood of Jesus bought for us. I know in my life I underestimate the amount of freedom that I actually am able to walk in. Jesus did not live a sin-free life and then bear all of our sins on the cross so that we could have partial freedom. He suffered the cross so that the power of sin would have absolutely zero amount of dominion over us. Paul makes a declaration in Romans 8:2 that states this, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” In verse 6 he tells us that those  whose mind is set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace! Jesus said “My peace I give to you”. So as we go through seasons of transition, rejoice in the fact that if our mind remains set of the Spirit of God, life and peace are the outcome. And as we take ownership over that area of transition, we will be able to release life and peace to others who are going through their seasons of transition.

Greetings from Kona! After a very long and tiresome time of traveling, I landed in Kona around 2:30 in the afternoon (April 5th).  Hawaii is such a beautiful place and the base here is amazing as well. It is a community of faith-filled lovers of Jesus. I am so excited for all the relationships that will spring forth from my time here.
Friday was officially our first day of the DTS. I think there are around 10-15 DTS’s going on right now here at the base. In my school we have around 60 students/staff. I room with 5 other guys with whom I have already formed an amazing bond with. We all have much excitement and anticipation for all that the Lord is going to do during these months to come. We had a great opening ceremony with the entire base and then went off into our own school groups for a orientation time. We had a very powerful time of worship and ministry time in the prayer room. And then after our orientation, myself and few others took a stroll down to the beach :) .
I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am for all of your support and prayer coverage. I know that I am exactly where God wants me right now and you have all played a major role in getting me here. From the deepest part of my heart I thank you. I will be finding out this upcoming week where I will be sent for the outreach phase. I can not wait to find out. I will be updating this blog as often as possible with information and other various things that the Lord places on my heart. Thank you so much again to all of you who have been praying and sowing into my time here. Blessings.
