Pasadena Update!

I made it to Pasadena yesterday afternoon! I have come to join with our YWAM crew from Kona who have planted themselves here to run alongside the U.S. Center For World Mission, as well as Lou Engle's ministry, The Call. The heartbeat behind this convergence is to partner together with Lord, in hopes of establishing training schools that will equip young men and women to be sent out to the hardest and darkest places of earth with the Gospel of Jesus.

Our crew from Kona has been here for 7 months now! They have been plowing away in prayer to catch vision of the massive plan that God has, not only for Pasadena, but for the nations of the earth that will be affected by what flows from the U.S. Center.

I am so excited to dive into all of the things that God is doing in and through our team here. The opportunities here are endless.   This summer is going to be wild! Starting in July we will be traveling to LA, Pennsylvania, and Kansas City to be a part of the The Circuit Riders School. Apart from that, and many other things to come, we will also be running alongside the house of prayer here in Pasadena, by partnering with the Lord through intercession, to see the words spoken by Him come to fruition. What an honor it is to be able to partner with God in prayer to see His Kingdom invade earth!

I will be sending out a more detailed newsletter in the next few days that I hope will explain a little more in depth of the practical day to day life here! I just wanted to fill you in briefly on where I am and the vision that our crew is moving toward!

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support. If you would like to become a monthly partner or give a one time donation you can do so here

Blessings!

Journey of Faith

"The journey of the man who would become known as Abraham is a paradigm of all authentic faith. His is a movement into obscurity, into the undefined, into ambiguity, and not into some predetermined, clearly delineated plan for the future. Each future determination, each next step discloses itself only out of a discernment of the influence of God in the present moment."

"By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going"
Hebrews 11:8

After 2800 miles of driving, I have made it to the west coast! We took 7 days to make the journey from East Tennessee to California. I am blown away by the beauty of this country. Two highlights of the trip were visiting the Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park. As I stood before the Grand Canyon, gazing out at this massive landscape, I was in complete awe of how big God is. We truly serve a mighty God!

I am currently staying with family in Los Osos, a town on the central coast of California. My goal is to be moved down to Southern California within the next week or so. I am still seeking the Lord and working out details for the exact location where I will be living and serving. I have several amazing opportunities, the next step is just figuring out which one is the one that the Lord wants! I have no desire to rush the process but I am full of anticipation and excitement due to the direction and words God has given me in recent months.

This season of my life has involved making many Abraham-like faith decisions! It is very exciting and a bit scary at times to be honest. The quote underneath the above picture is a very accurate description of my life over the past year. I have found that my heart is most alive when I am making moves completely based on God's present influence in my life. I am so thankful that we serve a risen Christ who promises to be with us forever. I am even more thankful that this promise is not just words in a book, but it is an absolute reality. I truly believe that God is using these steps of faith to write a story with my life that is beyond my wildest imagination!

I ask that you partner with me in prayer over this next week for guidance and wisdom as I plan to transition to Southern California. I hope to have a clear direction by this weekend, but I also know that my time frame is not always on track with God's. Thank you for all of your prayers and I look forward to sharing my next step with you very soon!
